Morden Dentist Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy is for Private Dental Patients
We strive to provide excellent dental care promptly to all our patients. Missed appointments, late arrivals and cancellations not only impact our team but also other patients who are awaiting care. Please review our cancellation policy below.
Appointment Cancellation
When you schedule an appointment, that time is reserved specifically for you and becomes unavailable to others. With appointments in high demand, your advance notice of cancellation allows us to offer your slot to another patient.
If you need to cancel, you must notify us with the following advance notice periods to avoid incurring a penalty charge:
- For a standard appointment – at least 48 hours in advance.
- If your appointment is 90 minutes or longer, or on a Saturday, or with one of our Specialist Dentists (for the following treatments: dental implants, root canal, or periodontal care) – 7 days / 1 week advance cancellation notice is required. We need a minimum of 7 days’ notice due to the high demand for these services.
Please note: appointments scheduled for Monday must be cancelled by the previous Thursday.
How to cancel your appointment
To cancel please either:
- Call us on 020 8540 8879 between 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday or on a Saturday between 10am and 4.30pm.

Late Cancellation / No Show Penalties
A cancellation is considered late if it is made less than 48 hours in advance of the appointment time or less than 7 days in advance for 90 minute + appointments, Saturday appointments or specialist dental appointments ( that is for dental implants, root canal, or periodontal care).
A no-show is recorded if a patient misses an appointment without cancelling.
For both late cancellations and no-shows a non-refundable fee will apply, based on the duration of the missed appointment as follows:
- £30 for a 30-minute appointment
- £45 for a 45-minute appointment
- £60 for a 1-hour appointment
- £120 for a 2-hour appointment
IMPORTANT: We value your time and ask that you value ours as well. Please keep this policy in mind when cancelling or rescheduling appointments.
